*) "DJ Kappaman DJ'd and MC'd my wedding. I can't say enough good things about him, but I'll try to enumerate the highlights:

1. Very punctual - DJ Kappaman was very punctual in everything he did. He was available for consultations & conversations; he was always on time; he provided a contract and discussed it with me; he provided a variety of ways to pay him; he explained the process of DJ-ing and MC-ing to me so I knew what to expect.

2. Very flexible - I organized my wedding from out of state and wasn't able to travel to TX to meet with DJ Kappaman before the wedding. He accommodated me by meeting with me via conference calls. He accommodated my different time zone, listened to my requests and fulfilled all of them. He is also good with technology so I was able to have video calls with him, share various music, text, e-mail etc. Take it from me folks, it is extremely important to be able to reach your wedding vendors quickly.

3. Action oriented & has good intuition - DJ Kappaman took my input and acted on it quickly and swiftly. This is very important because he incorporated my input but I didn't need to be prescriptive. In other words, for things I really cared about - I could give lots of instructions and he would incorporate them, but for things that were not so crucial to me - I provided very vague instructions and DJ Kappaman handled them appropriately by reading the crowd. This is a very important quality in a DJ and MC, because many DJ's/MC's only do what they are told, whereas DJ Kappaman has great intuition and is a do-er, not a talk-er.

4. Announced wedding party by names - My wedding party had people from all over the world with names that most DJ's find difficult to pronounce, but not DJ Kappaman. DJ Kappaman learned everyone's names and announced them perfectly by name when they entered the venue. This made everyone in the wedding party feel valued.

5. Played music from all over the world by request - Since many of my guests were from different countries, I wanted to play music from their home countries at the wedding. DJ Kappaman worked with me to understand what music I wanted played, how various foreign songs are significant to my guests and significant to different parts of the wedding. At the wedding he played our foreign songs at exactly the right times. The guests were so touched that some of them teared up. You're an AMAZING DJ!
